Each year, the United Nations reviews select SDGs to assess global progress. In 2026, UN-Habitat will lead a comprehensive review of SDG 11 to assess progress towards achieving “inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable” cities and settlements worldwide.
In a rapidly changing global environment, the visibility of SDG 11 cannot be taken for granted. Continued reporting, storytelling, and evidence from planners are essential to demonstrating its value and relevance. This is why the Commonwealth Association of Planners is calling on Canadian planners to showcase the work they are doing to advance SDG 11 and to reaffirm the importance of its renewal.
In advance of this webinar, CIP members can now access their digital copy of Plan Canada by logging into the Member Area. Not a member? Click here to learn more about becoming a public subscriber.
Each Plan Canada webinar is free for members to attend and can be used toward your Continuous Professional Learning (CPL) requirements. Non-members are also welcome to join for a fee of $35, plus applicable taxes.
If you are a CIP member and attend the webinar, your CPL units will be automatically applied to your account and be viewable in the Member Area. It does not get easier than that! Just make
