Join the Canadian Climate Institute for a briefing on Close to Home, the Institute's latest report on how Canada can build more housing in a changing climate.
The findings of Close to Home focus on the exposure of new housing to climate hazards. This research quantifies the risks of housing development in areas exposed to flooding and wildfire across the country, identifying how land use, housing, and infrastructure policies can be improved to minimize losses as Canada builds the housing needed to improve affordability.
